Guess Eyewear Amongst The Best Women Eyewear for 2012

Shopping for the best eyewear is one of the first things that comes to people’s mind when summer comes and 2012 brings out some of the most exciting looks for women that are both flattering and on-trend. Designer brands like Gucci and Dior bring the retro-inspired glamour, while mainstays like Ray Ban offer updated favorites in timeless shapes. Newcomers in the sunglasses elite list like Guess eyewear and Robert Cavalli impressed us by their collection. Though aviators continue to dominate the scene, oversized frames and square-shapes are pushing forward full steam.

To keep up with the high demands of fashion and eye care, you will want to discover some of the best women’s eyewear for 2012. I made my own list of the best. Below are a few styles that will get you noticed, envied, and imitated in no time. Prepare to be a head turner.

Ray Ban Eyewear - The classic Wayfarer style returns to the forefront of fashion, and Ray Ban has updated the square framed shades with new features. Made of acetate, the glasses provide reasonable protection from the sun and harmful UV rays, cost roughly $155, and come in universally complementary shiny black tone.

Marc Jacobs Eyewear - If Ray Ban is the brand your mother, or more likely, father, wore and you are looking for a style that is more youthful and fashionable, then there is no better choice than the Marc Jacobs Horsebit Sunglasses. Available in four fun colors including a modern tortoiseshell, these oversized plastic shades are chicly adorned with a horsebit jewel on the temples. At $335 they are not inexpensive, but they do come packaged in a signature case and include a two-year warranty.

Christian Dior Eyewear - For all out glamour the only true option is Dior. The Cannage Metal Plate Sunglasses are a gorgeous example of high-end elegance with their oversized frames that are softly rounded to flatter the face. These glasses are available in three distinctive color schemes. Subtle vintage touches mark them out as perfectly on-trend, and the beautifully designed metal logos on the sides are demure but instantly recognizable. These sunglasses, like the Jacobs ones, come with a two-year warranty and will set you back about $259.

Roberto Cavalli Eyewear - Another pair of square framed and retro-inspired glasses, but the difference here is the endearingly whimsical bee insignia and geometric patterning on the stems. The eye-catching design is playful and available in two color schemes. Though higher priced at $378, it is certainly worth the extra bucks for the unique style.

And last but not the least Guess eyewear - is a fashionable expression of a global escape and vintage fusion. This season, Guess Eyewear delves deep into the heart of the western story putting a modern day spin on the old wildwest. Guess Eyewear offers the subtle combination of earthiness and a raw sensuality that best characterizes the brand and is interpreted into the eyewear collection. The temple details and innovative layering of metal and plastic are reminiscent of decades past but the edgy styling offers a contemporary twist for the fashion addict. Guess eyewear is my personal favorite as of the moment. With fashionable eyewear at only $100 and below.
