Battle of The Designer Womens Eyewear

If you are looking for designer women’s eyewear but are unsure which brand name is right for you, be sure to shop at a variety of stores or one shop with a large selection so that you can try on styles from many different lines. That’s what fashionistas like me do. And since it is summer now, I (and most women) needs sunglasses or eyewear to protect our eyes but more importantly, to add edge on our fashion outfits. So today, I’m going to talk about the designers that battle it out in the category of the best women’s eyewear. Check it out here:

• Calvin Klein. Often found in the economical $50 to $80 range, many Calvin Klein sunglasses feature classic aviator shapes in wire rim or rimless styles. It’s classic with a touch of modern look never goes out of style.

• Chanel. The Havana (in the $300 range) is one signature Chanel style, available in bold plastic frames with brown gradient colors and matching lenses. Chanel is on the top of the ladder when it comes to women’s eyewear but it is always nothing but a dream to buy a Chanel sunglass for many people

• Giorgio Armani. Standard prices typically range from about $120 to $250 for these popular designer sunglasses, which include certificates of authenticity and warranties. Their collection is impressive but quite formal.

• JLO by Jennifer Lopez. This newer sunglass collection for trendy women is one of many examples of recent lines launched with branding that uses celebrity names. Some JLO styles are available in the $100 range and got some great chic vibe in it.

• Guess Eyewear. Guess is one brand that had been known for their apparel but today they are making a huge dive on the women’s eyewear section. Ranging from $100 and below, Guess Eyewear offers the subtle combination of earthiness and a raw sensuality that best characterizes the brand and is interpreted into the eyewear collection. The temple details and innovative layering of metal and plastic are reminiscent of decades past but the edgy styling offers a contemporary twist.

Each designer has a certain image that he or she portrays through clothing and accessories, as well as through advertising and promotions. Designer and celebrity sunglasses tend to be pricier, and often have more expensive upgrades such as jewels and inlays with unique patterns and designs. Attractive designer logos may be etched or inlaid in high-end frames. Certainly the true test is in trying on women’s eyewear and finding what's right for you. Some lines are more conservative, some are feminine, some are urban and cutting-edge, and some are simply but beautifully designed. Typically, if you like the clothing styling from a designer you also will like their women’s eyewear.
