Getting That Boho Chic Look

The boho chic look is a fashion style I love to experiment with a lot, especially during the warm season. There are a lot of gorgeous dresses, shorts, and skirts that have the boho chic, hippy, and ethnic feel to them. I personally like bohemian-inspired jewelry, accessories, and scarves. I believe there is nothing more comfortable and stylish than wearing an off-shoulder top and casually matching it with a boho chic scarf, a long beaded necklace, ethnic-inspired earrings, and a pair of sexy boots ala-Sienna Miller. Sienna, along with a host of other lovely celebrities that include Blake Lively, Nicole Richie, and the Olsen Twins rock the boho chic look so well.

Nicole Richie makes the boho chic look so effortless and fun. She really knows how to put a fantastic ensemble together—everything from her hair to all her accessories.

But I have to say, my favorite boho chic style icon is Sienna Miller. She is the one responsible for bringing this style to the forefront of fashion. She has made this kind of style not only effortless to pull off, but truly chic, looking sexy and unique with an amazingly hot bohemian flair. She has taken the style and made it as her own, which is what I think what bohemian fashion is all about. It’s not really just about trying to look like a hippie or dress in bohemian clothes from head to toe; it’s about embracing a style that is unique, and being fearless when experimenting with the boho look and making it yours. These are the things that make this kind of style fun and unique.

Many shops carry boho chic-inspired accessories, as they are fun to work around in creating your unique look. One of my personal favorites is bohemian-style purses which I find so amazing. I’ve recently discovered that the best designs are found at vintage markets or yoga shows. They have a fantastic variety of designs with cool inscriptions, quotes, and symbols. I also get a kick out of shopping for ethnic-inspired designs in authentic South Asian or Indian stores where you can also find fabulous jewelry, scarves, and even home decors you can use to add a boho flair to your house.
